Contract Works Insurance (Single & Annual Project)

Contract Works Insurance is designed to cover physical loss of or damage to works under construction, including partially completed works, materials, and temporary structures. Cover may extend to materials while on site, in transit, or stored off site for incorporation into the project during the construction period, subject to policy terms and contractual arrangements.

Who Needs It

Principal contractors, builders, civil contractors, developers, and other parties involved in construction or infrastructure projects where responsibility for insuring the works is allocated under contract.

Why It Matters

Construction projects involve time critical assets, staged milestones, and contractual delivery obligations. Physical damage during construction—whether caused by weather events, accidents, or unforeseen incidents—can result in delays, additional costs, and potential exposure to contractual penalties if not adequately insured.

Moment of Truth

A severe storm damages partially completed works and stored materials just weeks before handover. Without adequate Contract Works cover, repair costs, project delays, and potential liquidated damages would fall directly on the parties responsible for the works.

When your work involves the public, accidents can happen even after handover.
We help you manage those risks.
